It's time to approach public health work with transparent reciprocity.

Black Health New Mexico is a dedicated resource in, and beyond, New Mexico providing greater access to: policy, programing and paradigms that improve Black and BIPOC maternal health outcomes and experiences over the life course. Our work focuses on advancing Black women and BIPOC people’s thought leadership in public health, for the good of our families and communities.

New Mexico is at the center of a national maternal health movement.

By centering families, cultural congruence, language equity, traditional ways, midwifery, doula and lactation support as essential systems of care; community based organizations are working collaboratively and tirelessly to improve outcomes.

Nobody knows communities better than they know themselves.
